Board of Advisors

The Board of Advisors (BOA) consists of 10-12 rotating members who are experts in observational climate data, and who represent the topical and human diversity of climate science. The BOA ensures that the Climate Data Guide remains a high quality, growing and relevant resource that serves the climate science community. The BOA's duties include providing regular feedback on the Guide; advising on web design and user experience; suggesting new datasets to include and experts to invite; reviewing expert guidance contributions; reviewing existing content and flagging outdated or inaccurate material; and promoting the Guide within the community. The BOA meets quarterly in a virtual setting.

The BOA is current soliciting new members in all areas of the Earth System. Please write climatedataguide@ucar.edu to nominate yourself or a colleague.
